Inventor to Autocad

Is there a way i can make a DWG in Inventor that i can use in Autocad Mechanical and still have it linked to the Inventor 3D model so as to allow me to edit linked dimentions in Autocad Mechanical and have it change the Invnetor Model.

hi Joseph,

You can create the drawing views of Inventor model(assembly or part)in Autocad(DWG format) and keep the associativity between Autocad DWG and Inventor model. That is to say, Inventor model change will can update the Autocad DWG. However, there isn't a method to change the dimension in Autocad DWG and have it change Inventor model currently.
