Inventor refuses to build or alter the Hole

Hello

Does anybody had a problem when making or altering the existing hole, but Inventor 2010 and 2011 refuses to do it.

It just do not load databeses or other reason but the tratment is only program reloading.

It happens only on XP machine and quite often, under Win7 it works OK

Regards,

Orest Yavtushenko

Several possibilities:

1. You do not have Excel 2003 or above on the system. Run it before opening inventor.

2. In Tools >> Application Options >> File, the location for Design Data is not specified correctly or,

3. You are pointing to the wrong location for Design Data in your project file.

Check these possibilities first.

File location and Design Data are correct. This problem appears or not just after the while of working with Inventor.

I have 2002 Office, since new 2007 - 10 makes me crazy, I cannot find simpliest stuff I usually need from those programs.

As I understand 2002 could make a problem.

Actually you are the first who gave me a hint, subscribtion did not help.

Thanks,

Orest Yavtushenko
