Inventor- how to slice a DWG file

Please could you help,

How can i do to slice a surface *DWG file in inventor, knowing that was exported from 3ds file

pls see sample attached

Here is the sample file: tire.DWG, attached again.

I would like to know how if i can do slice or to get the cross sections of it. (i am trying 2010)

I do not know why i have attached the file but its missing when i Post Message ?!

It must be under 1.45 MB in size. You can drage the EOP Marker to the
top of the file before saving it in order to reduce file size.
