Inventor center point

Hi all.

Could someone please help me with the following?

I want to create a new part from within the assembly environment.

Now when I di this there is no centre point to constrain a skech to?

It works fine when creating a new part just not from the assembly environment?

Thank you in advance!

Project Geometry the Center Point from the browser when you start a new sketch (this should be your default).

Can you attach a small sample assembly that exhibits this behavior?

(Have you started a new sketch in the new part? )

First welcome to the community..

Secondly there has been a lot of odd activities lately on the forums with attachments and etc with no information being provided except for the attachment.  If you truly have an issue/question/concern please describe the problem directly in the posting and not just provide an attachment.  In addition this posting is 4 years old and you really should've create a new one at this point.   At this time I'm not taking the risk of opening your attachment without additional information from you.  Smiley Wink
