Inventor View 2014

Has anyone had experience with this program?  We've suggested that staff at our branch on the other side of the country install this so that we can discuss designs with them, but as far as I can see, it's slightly less than useless. There doesn't appear to be any way to change the visibility of parts, change the view representation, turn off sketches & workplanes or generally make the model usable in any way.  I accept that this is not an editor, but allowing the user to see inside a model seems like a basic requirement, otherwise there's no point in using this program to view anything more complex than the most basic of single parts.  I've tried using the help option in the program but the link seems to be broken.  Any help would be appreciated.

you are correct, really only good to view/print drawings.

Design Review is a better option... export your assemblies as DWFX

Justin,

I will have to agree with James on this.

For your View reps and Printing, you will need to use Design Review.

Have you had a chance to look at Mockup 360?

This provides you with a different set of collaboration tools.
