Algor was purchased a number of years ago by Autodesk and is now named Simulation Mechanical. You can find the information here for product and demo:

http://www.autodesk.com/products/autodesk-simulation-family/overview

With all FEA software, it's only as good as the person setting up the simulation. I don't recall seeing any documentation and results verification for Inventor's FEA on the web.

Thanks cieslak. I am currently in offshore hoping to find something like sesam genie. I hope autodesk will provide someday something like that....

You see i am very loyal to autodesk. I was using autodesk since i was in highschool doing experimental things now that i'm working as a Lifting/Structural engineer (navala architect& Marine engineer). I still prefer Autodesk....But sad to say they haven't provide a product for Marine and offshore industry... Looking forward to this Autodesk thanks guys for helping me out....
