Inventor 2013, Bump not showing

Hi,

I have a problem with only some parts.
Bump is not showing. Tryed all i can think of, but nothing helps.
Bump is not showing, when i use "Shaded" or "Shaded with edges".
But it shows if i use Raytrace.

Any got a solution?

See pictures.

Kind regards

Hi Chris

Here you go.

I could see the bump, when moving EOP down from the top.

But when I reached Hole2, the bump disappeared. I can cycle that back and forth.

And if I change the hole type to non-threaded, bump is ok.

Same behavior occurs already with Hole1, but I've overlooked it. Extrusion4 behind Hole1 brings the bump back again.

Hello Henrik,

I tried to to reproduce this issue on Inventor 2013. Its wrong behaviour.

I am confirming it and I will work with developer to solve this issue.

Actually thread is a bad guy here. Some how intventor disables bumps when thread will be applied to sheetmetal part.

There is a workaround for you in this case.

Simply move "Cut 3" in browser below "Hole 3". It will bring back bumps.

Let me know if more help is needed.

Thank you,
