Inventor 2012 Constraints Advice

Is there a way to constrain two assemblies so that when I move the one to the right the other assy will move towards it and when I move it to the left the other assy will move away from it? I have been looking around for video's but none of any worth has come to my attension.

Please help me

Thank you

Hi

Constrain one to a plane at the mid point of the rail, rename the constraint in the parameter table to something like 'Offset' then when you constrain the other part to the mid point plane set it's distance as 'Offset'. If you change the distance on the first then the second will move accordingly.

Does that answer you question or have I mis-understood your problem?

Attach your assembly here if you can't figure it out.
