Inventor 2011 Trial installation alongside Inventor Series R10

Greetings,

I was wondering if anyone had installed the 2011 trial version of IVP alongside an older version.  I know about the interoperability problems with old/new data.  Specifically I am wondering if there any known licensing issues, ie will uninstalling the trial corrupt the valid license, etc.  I can't afford not to keep my working copy of inventor in use, but would like to test drive the new stuff.  I would only use the trial version as a demo to illustrate the improvements to the upper management, and hopefully justify the purchase.

Thanks

Randy
