Inventor 2010 crashes when I select edit sketch

I have a single user, of many, who is having problems performing an edit sketch on several ipt files.

I have cleared all project folders to clean that up, deleted the windows temp folder, repaired the software install to set things back to default but to no avail.

Other users can perform this action on the same files without issue.

Any suggestions for video card, windows or other configuration that might be causing this?

We are using Inventor professional, standalone, pc has 8gigs of ram.

thanks

You haven't indicated if you have installed the 2010 Service Packs.

Try going to Tools>Application Options>Hardware tab and set to lowest setting.

It has all 4 service packs installed.  Thanks for the reminder though.

Hi! Did you send in crash report? What was the email address associated with the reports? Could you send me an email (johnson.shiue@autodesk.com)? I would like to dig up the report you submitted.

Thanks!

Issue was fixed by uninstalling the latest 3d connect mouse driver from the users pc.

I will install an older driver that is not causing this issue.

Thank you for posting the solution that you found: I also had his issue.

I did not roll back the driver though; the newer driver (v10-1-4) has resolved the problem for me.
