Importing IV6's assembly in Max 4.2

hi there,

when I'm importing IV6's model in 3ds max 4.26, the name of my parts is imcomplete. Ex. for pump part max gives the following name : P. It takes the first letter only. I've already download the plug-in upgrade for max. It happens to someone else?

I believe I remember a post from the Inventor team acknowledging this and
that they are working on it.

Yah they said they were working on it a week ago. One other bad thing about
the upgrade to V6. Don't get me wrong i love inventor 6 i just wanna know
why it is taking so long to figure out if inventor 5.3 worked fine?

How well does assemblies come into 3DS Max? I know in the past it would
leave some parts out.

same as the past Max leaves the component patterns and the welds, machining and surfaces preparations of the assemblies.
