IV9SP2 - View Overlays

If I use view overlays (via Neil's utility), what happens if the file set is
opened on a system that doesn't have to utility installed?

Also, what happens if the file set is migrated to 10?

Hi Dave,

The add-in would need to be installed on each machine (IV9). The data that
enables the overlaid views is stored within the idw file, so it will work as
long as the add-in is available. You can open the idw on a machine without
the add-in installed, you just won't be able to realign the views if you
happen to move one.

IV10 has this functionality built in and the information stored by the
add-in should not have any affect on Adesk's implementation. The add-in will
still work, but any new drawings created in 10 would be better served by the
built in overlay views.
