Hi,
Yesterday i installed IV 2012 (Ulitimate 2012).
Today i wanted to migrate some files using the Task Scheduler.
This is what i got (see image).
Has anyone seen this before.....? Tryed a few things (new install, repair, register etc.) but no luck.
Please some advise..... Thanks.

Just have to wait till someone els has the same problem i gues.
Hi,
Could you please provide more information to reproduce the issue? What's your OS? Whether do other functionality work well in your Inventor 2012? What's language pack you using?
It looks like TaskSchedulerRes.dll was corrupt. Could you send me this file for investigation? It is located at <Inventor install folder>\bin\.
Thanks,
Marshal
Ok, here we go
System specs:
Asus P6T6 WS Revolution
Intel Core I7 Extreme 975 3.33Ghz
12 GB DDR3 (6x OCZ 2048 MB – DDR3 1066 (533MHz))
Nvidia Quadro FX 3700 (8.17.12.7061)
300 GB Seagate Cheetah SAS (ST3300656SS)
Window 7 Ultimate 64 Bit
Autodesk Product Design Suite Ultimate 2012 64 Bit - English International
(Inventor Professional 2012 64 Bit)
No problems with other Design Suite programs (all installed, all working (so far))
Besides the 2012 Design Suite also Simulation Suite 2011 (stil) installed.
(No vault installed (no client – no server))
Greets,
Walter.
im having the exact same problem, right down to the screen shot you posted.
System specs:
ASUS P7P55D-E LX
Intel Core I5 660 3.33 GHz
8GB DDR3 (2 x 4096 DDR3-SDRAM)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570
Western Digital WD3000HLFS-01G6U4 ATA Device (300GB)
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
Autodesk Product Design Suite Ultimate 2012 64 Bit - English International
(Inventor Professional 2012 64 Bit)
Likewise, i have had no other issues with any other programs installed with the package; just Task Scheduler.
I also tried replacing the Task Scheduler files in the case that they were corrupt, as stated above. This did not fix anything.

Hi,
It seems that your task scheduler resource file is good. I cannot judge what's the reason with the current information. I recommend you contact with Product Support for help.
Or you send me more information for analysis. I need a log file which is gotten by Process Monitor. Please refer to the attachment for detailed steps how to get the log file.
Thanks,
Marshal
Hi,
We haven't gotten eough information to reproduce/analyze the issue yet. It is helpful if you can provide me the log file gotten by Process Monitor.
Thanks.
Marshal
To be fair, from the picture it doesn't look like anything has been run yet. So it wouldn't have created a log file

It won't let me attach the logfile so a i've attached a screenshot.
I'm no expert but this doesn't look good?

Hi,
Please send your log file to my email. It is difficult to analyze the snapshot:(.
Thanks,
Marshal
Hi,
From your log file, it seems that the font "SimSun-ExtB" is used by TaskScheduler so that all strings show as noise. I am not clear what cause the issue. It may be that some other applications just conflict with Task Scheduler. Could you please provide me the information as below?
1. OS, language and region.
2. Which applications are installed in your machine?
3. If you install other Inventor version, task scheduler work well?
You can send me the information by email if you think those information is confidential. I recommend that you contact product support and let them have a closer look.
Thanks,
Marshal
I currently have a case open with Autodesk for this, but I have the exact same problem. Tried all kinds of trouble shooting, still have the issue on BOTH of my laptops.
Also seeing this exact issue on my laptop.
Dell M6300
W7 64
APDS-U 2012
Hope this bump keeps the pressure on this problem or maybe someone already has resolve?
I am meant to be performing a migration / vault implementation and this is rather a hinderance.
regards
carl
Me too, Carl!
the two I see it on are a Dell M6500, and M4400, both W7 64.
