Darvin,
Hoops viewer can't work like ActiveX placed on HTML page.
Ok, it can, but only for HSF files. Not for SAT format directly.
Old version (6) runs well.
I think so I will go with solution proposed by Kent.
Problem is so my ConvertingServer works for
Inventor/SolidEdge/SolidWorks/......
My final 3D format for view is SAT. All non-cad users need to view the
files.
Full layout is operated by PDM system which works in HTML/ASP environment.

Kent,
At least for now, at , you can download the hoops/acis
viewer R7. Then do all your version changes there (let inventor output at
highest capability). It's free, it works well, it has redlining, and you can
back down to acis r1 if necessary. You can output an assembly and throw out
what you don't want in the viewer, rather than chase down and output
individual parts from IV.

ps. Wasn't I beating this drum about a year ago?
