IPN view in IDW problems

Hello,

I've made an IPN of an assembly, but there are some wierd problems with it.

There is a mesh plate in it, but the mesh texture/image doesn't show at all.

The assembly is as follows:

- Assembly A of part A which contains the mesh plate.

- Assembly B, which contains Assembly A + other parts.

- Assembly C, which contains Assembly B + other parts/assemblies.

When making a IPN of assembly A or B, and I put it in a IDW, it shows the mesh texture/image fine.

But when i make an IPN of Assembly C and put it in a IDW, the mesh texture just disappears.

See attached image for examples.

This is a really big problem since we work with these kinds of assemblies a lot!

This occurrs in IV 2013, it worked fine in IV 2011 (our previous version).

Please help with getting this solved...

Was the mesh applied to the item as an over ride in Assembly A or was it applied at the part level? Open the part only and see if it's meshed.

Your post didn't say anything about service pack 1.1, you should install it if you haven't already.

Sorry about that. All updates and fixes are installed.

There are no overrides. The part itself has the appereance applied to it and is shown as meshed if you open it.

-edit-

I tried overriding the part in the end assembly (Assembly C in my first post). And now it does work!

However, it's still strange that it doesn't show the appearance of the basic part. Seem like an error in IV 2013?

ps.

Is there any way of improving the quality of the mesh shown in the View in an IDW? For now, a shaded view look very poor visually...
