INventor studio render without surface

Hi,

Maybe this is really simple, but I can't figure out how to NOT include a surface of a part when I do a rendering. (i.e. I only want the solids.)

Turning off visibility doesn't do it..

Anyone?

Terje,

I am not exactly sure what you are trying to accomplish.

Is this an assembly or just a part?

Can you Post your model for us to look at?

What version of Inventor are you using?

Thank you.

It is an assembly. One of the parts consist of solid and surface bodies. In inventor studio, when doing a rendering, the surface of the one part shows, but not transparent in the rendering. I would like to render solids only, but I find no way of excluding surfaces for a render.

Terje,

I think that this is something that our dev staff will have to work on.

I did a test case and I think that I am reproducing what you see.

Can you post or private message me a ZIP file of you data?

Thank you.
