Hunt for a laptop to run IV R7

I am looking for the best value off-the-shelf or configured for intermediate, home based work. Below is my current options researched.

From reviewing prior discussions, high CPU, high RAM, and Quadro video is recommended. What would be a recommended intermediate, configuration for CPU, RAM, and video? Specifics? (Hope this unit lasts 3 yrs?)

How does one know the quality of RAM one receives?
(Hope to avoid blue screen of death!)

Thanks for your reply.

All of our lap tops used for Inventor are the older
Dell M50 running Windows XP, and we have not had a single problem.

If it is seriously in your price range go for the
M60 no question.

Anyone have any experience with Alienware laptop's
I see they and Dell (8600) have the nVidia 128 graphic's card in
them?
