How to update dwg drawing after promoting parts from subassembly

I made a drawing from assembly with a subassembly and the parts from subassembly weren't on parts list table so I promoted them. After that they wont' show in the tree of drawing and on the drawing itself. Those previosly subassemblied parts disappeared in the drawing workspace

Is there a way to update the drawing to show them normally in drawing and the tree?

Its in inventor 2013

It is strange, because on new test files it is updating right away, so why it disappears.

The sub assemblies you are trying to get to show up in your assembly drawing parts list, are they set to be reference in the BOM setting portion of the sub assembly itself?  This is typically what you would do if you want the components of a sub assembly to show up in the main assembly parts list.
