Hi i have problem with the Application option settings for sketch enviroment: When i draw a line in the sketch, i am not able to do the "click hold for a tangent arc to the representing line" it just starts a new straight line.
I know it has something to do with the settings, but can figure out what the correct settings are...
Could someone please point this out for me??
Thanks
What version of Inventor?
Do you have Constraint Persistence turned on?

Sorry for late reply, but been trying to figure out what settings could affect it. I have tried with constraint persistance on and off, i am on Inventor Professional 2013.
Have 2 pics of settings currently applied in application options.
Since i have to option of apply a tangent arc from the create arc ribbon this isent a big deal but would have been nice to know what settings is preventing me from create one directly sketch line.

It's a tricky maneuver to do, at least if you've never done it before.
Have you ever done it?
After you left click to end a line keep your cursor hovering over the end point, then click and hold down the left mouse button and the shift key, then drag your cursor towards the direction you want the arc to go.
HTH
LOL, I don't know where I picked that up!
And here I thought the shift key was always needed...Thanks for the heads up!
