have a box. From the outside there are parts attached to the box by a thread,
i.e they are both outside and inside the box. I would like to export the
assembly in a way I will get a solid part of the box that I can send to my
customer to include in his construction, but I don't want to give away my
construction inside the box.
Is this possible? I have tried to
make a new part and derive the assembly once and twice, but no luck. I can
still zoom inside the box and se the parts and easily take measurements. I
don't want the customer to copy my construction...
;-)

Sam, Yes, that works, but the components are both outside and inside the
box... and if I grey them out - they will be invisible outside the box too...
so it won't solve my problem.
