How to create "skin" for my aircraft frame

I used the built-in frame generator in Inventor to create an aluminum frame for a twin engine aircraft I designed. Now that the frame is made, I need to create the "skin" for the aircraft. I've been googling around and came across subjects like surface modeling, etc but I'm still confused. Can someone point me in the right direction as to how I would create my aircraft's "skin"?

I'm a high school student and have been teaching myself how to use this awesome software. I'm designing this aircraft for a personal portfolio. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!
