How to Merge cells in Hole Table

hi,

 

i created hole table but i unable to merge the cells. but i need my output will beas per the input.please help me if you have any idea and make sure it is possible to give ineventor 2011 & 2012.

Have you tried the various options in the Edit Hole Table dialog?

Combine Notes will merge the Descriptions for identical holes.  Play around with the other options and see what works for you.

Ram,

Another option is you can create the table in Excel and import it into your drawing.

Scott,

export the table in excell is possible. but, in future itis not possible to automatic update. and font size & style also vary.

When I have imported Excel spread sheets into Inventor drawings when I needed to edit them, they always opened in Excel.  So I am not exactly sure what you are talking about.

There must be something unique about your model or styles.  I have used hole tables quite a bit in the last few months, and have no trouble combining hole notes.

 

Can you post a drawing and model that exhibit this problem?  Perhaps someone here can identify the solution.
