How do I tell What Layer a Line is On.

When I edit a title block I would like to know which layer a particular line is on.  If I right click to activare the "Properties" dialog box.  All it tells ne is that the line is "By Layer".  How can I tell which layer an entity is on?

Thanks!

Hi mcrump28210,

Select the line(s) and then switch to the Annotate tab, and look for the Format panel. You'll see the layer drop down box listing the current layer. You can use the drop down to change the layer if needed.

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,

Curtis,

Is there a way to create a titleblock in Autocad and use it as the basis for an inventor titleblock without creating extra layers.  BTW, as a SC native, born and bred, GO GAMECOCKS!
