Hole placed at angle to flat face

Hi All,
I need to place a hole on a face and have the axis of the hole at 45 deg. to the face. I'm using the On Point method, and I end up with half a hole on the face (see attached) Is there a simple method to get the hole to fully appear on the face? What I have been doing thus far is placing a second hole on the same point, but reversing the direction..

TIA

Without having your model, I'm going to assume that you created an angled
workplane to create the angled hole feature.

Use the angled workplane to create a new sketch and position a circle
corresponding to the hole profilerude cut to open the hole. This way you
will not have two hole features. Actually, the method you used is one of
two common solutions to the issue.

Create the workplane above the face.
I create a sketch angled line and then create the workplane at the end of that line.

Thanks Gents.....figured as much. It would be nice to have the ability to remove that extra bit of material in the hole command, though. 🙂
