Help with Scaling a part

I copied a sketch from autocad to inventor but the scale is way off for whatever reason.  I want to scale the part which is currently measuring 33" down to 2-5/8".  I can't seem to do this.  Can someone tell me how this is done?  Thanks.

Create a sketch block and then scale the block.

Attach your file here if you can't figure it out.

Oops,  I read this wrong.

I want to scale the part to 2.625".  I was fooling around with it but couldn't figure this out.  I guess I want to scale the sketch?  See attached.  Thanks.

Would Derive be a better way to go about this?

I think I told you wrong.

Scale the sketch and then turn it into a sketch block (not needed, but for safety).

But why is it the wrong scale.

This appears to be a scale problem on inserting from AutoCAD.

I would drill down the source of the problem.

As JDMather said, you need to fix the problem in AutoCAD. Open the drawing in AutoCAD and check the units.

Attach the drawing and we can all have a look at it.

Cheers

Jon.

All I am trying to find out is how to scale something that currently measures 66mm to measure 2.625".  Attached is the file.  It is showing the mm dimension in inches once inported into Inventor.

The dwg file indicates that it was drawn in the wrong units.

But it is trivially easy to scale the sketch as indicated above.

Never mind, I figured it out.  Thanks.
