Help needed with a loft

I can't seem to loft this using the rail.
See the CF under "problem loft"

Thanks

to autodesk
this workaround has opened up some other posibilities. previously I tried to loft a boat hull. the solid lofts ok but the shelling fails. I just successfully managed to loft a boat hull by offsetting my frames the amount of the hull skin inwards. I trimmed the deck line off and made a closed loop showing the boat hull cross section minus deck. this single closed C-shaped loop lofts ok.
putting the rails in as 3d curves is still a pain though.(2 surface intersects)..hint..where is that 3d spline...

Additional information gathered

The rail(s) must intersect the profile, that is, they must
touch. In this example it does not.

According to Help file, it says Under Rails, "A 2D or 3D curve
through a point on each profile shape used to improve shape control. Profiles
must intersect rails".

Ultimately this is a wish as Central Rails are yet to be
implemented in Inventor.
