I havent found two symbols from ANS Y14.5 2009.
The first one is the continuous feature and the second one is the spot face.
Actually, I defined symbols as a workaround.
Is there an another way to get these symbols. They are not in the Windows GDT fonts as well.
Thank you.
Can't say as I have seen any of those symbols in Inventor. As far as the continuous feature you can create somthing similar to this.
by just creating a special hex balloon in the styles.

That's the solution I use at this time. Maybe in future release all symbols will be available in the hole annotations and feature symbols.
Thank you

You can always post an idea in the Inventor IdeaStation and outline what you would like to see.
If you do post a link here to the idea and in the idea back to this thread.

Because Inventor 2014 is still using a 20 year-old standard:
Why? because the current standard only came out five years ago.
Best not to be too hasty about such things. /s
After searching for the continuous feature symbol and finding this thread I had nearly given up and then I stumbled across the setting to add it.
1. Click "Edit Layers" button in the "Annotate" tab.
2. Select "Feature Control Frame" from the list on the left.
3. Select "Material Removal Modifier" from the drop down.
4. Way down at the bottom is the option for continuous feature.
To get the symbol to show up the way I have it in the below image I had to place the feature control frame and then create a text box with leader and attach it to the end of the FCF.
I hope this helps someone in the future.
