Friday Pictures 7-4-'14

It's friday again, so time to show off projects!

My contribution is something i posted once before, but i've now added hoses to and put against a backplate that's more appropriate.

For those interested, this is a 600L herbicide sprayer.

Have a good weekend!

(and a good 4th of Juli for all you americans!)

Nice Niels!

is it a HDRI  map or a simple background?

How did you work with shadows?

It's a simple background, just a photograph of an orchard.
I did this in ShowCase by making use of the "Backplate" environment.
Showcase will let you move shadows by dragging, so i kinda just eyeballed it.
In regards to that, it's actually a horrible picture with the lighting coming from behind 😛

Here's something I made in Inventor and 3D printed for my dad earlier:

I know it's a really simple part but I've been itching to contribute to the Friday thread for a while..!

Happy 4th of July 🙂

Nice, tube&pipe module or done by hand?

@wilkhui nice to see some Autodesk participation 🙂

I'm not familiar with 3d printing materials, is that key chain flexible or hard/brittle?

Hi Niels,

Sorry for the delayed response - the key chain is made of PLA and although it's a rigid part I believe it's possible to make a flexible one using the same material with some smart design. There are already a wide variety of 3D printing materials available as well, even marble, so I'll post some more stuff to the Friday thread if I use some new stuff 🙂

Thanks and hope you're well,

Indy
