Starting it off for this week...
Rendered in IV Studio 2011 at 1024 x 768 size, 300DPI Resolution, Four Color lighting with an extra local light, Reflective XY Ground Plane.
I think the render is a bit dark, but it's a cool model.
Makes me wish i had something nice to render again, but alas... no time for that atm.

@About 40 seconds at 300dpi @1024x768, under 2 minutes at 300dpi@ 4096x3072 resolution. hardware specs below:
do you have a single or 2 quad cores amd?
Single CPU, dual core. Additional cores don't give you any more speed.
A monday pic on a friday thread
A machine i recently have made..

Quick one I've just done. Like the renders I'm getting from 2011
Here's a recent one...
All that's missing from that are a few headcrabs or maybe a crowbar.
some very nice pics in here.
really like the lab scene and farm machinery
I'll also bet the engine took a while, i used to model gas valves and castings can be quite frustrating to model, especially if already "drawn" in AutoCAD (or other).
here's a scene of manual and automatic (pneumaitc) Standard Duty Diverter Valves
