Frame Generator - Multiple Frames

It has been a while since I produced multiple frames in an assembly. Am I missing something or is this no longer possible. All the frame generated parts get lumped together in a single subassembly now, no matter what skeleton part you use. How do I create multiple frame generator subassemblies? Do I have to create subassemblies beforehand?

And why can't I demote a frame generator subassembly with its reference part?

Did a better search and I guess this cannot be done. I will try creating subassemblies first and see if that helps.

Yes, in Inventor 2008, for the different skeleton parts on the same level,
the Frame generator parts are placed together in one single subassembly. If
you want to create multiple frame generators subassembly, firstly create
subassemblies and then create frame member into them separtlly.

Thanks!
