FORMAT TEXT NOTES

Hi all,
Today my question is related to text format.
Is possible to use the tab key to format the text or should we use the space bar key and align the text again by eyeball?

See Attached IDW ( 2009)

The simplest way to format text in Inventor is to create a Word document so
that you can:

1. Use tabs

2. Use numbering of Items

3. Format your document any way you wish

Then copy and paste from Word into Inventor. WordPad also works.

I have copy and pasted as well as inserted into Inventor as an object. The object inserted with the link option works well, especially since you can open the text of the word file from inventor and make changes that update in Inventor. If you so not see the text in your drawing, go to the tree and turn visibility on the inserted word document using right click. But, note that strange things happen if you change the margins.

Doesn't work for me. I want to do a Number list with indents and 2nd line indenting like Autocad and the attached file. Copy/Paste into a Text Box in Inventor stripped all of the indents and tabbing...

Am I missing something?

Is there another way to insert the text rather than into a text box?
