Exporting JT files in Inventor 2008

I have an issue with exporting (or Save Copy As) files as JT files in Inventor 2008.  There are no options and when saved, it will NOT open in a third party software OR in Inventor 2011.

Is there a fix or setting for this?  The "Options" button does not function.

I don't think there is a way.  I even got what was supposed to be a translator "add-in" from Autodesk Labs, and still couldn't get it to work.

The JT files exported from Inventor 2008 only contains Facet data, but no Brep.

I presume you need the Brep data. There is no way to do that with Inventor 2008.

From Inventor 2009, we have a labs release to do that, and from 2010, you can use Inventor to save the Brep data directly.
