Estimated weights

Hello all,

I hope you can help me with something - I am using 2013 and I have completed 2 skids.  The customer asked if there was a way we can estimate the weight of the skids.  Can I do that in Inventor?

Thank you so much!!

Angela

If you have all of the materials assigned properly just as they are going to be in real life, it's only a matter of going to the iProperties page, then go to the Physical tab, and click Update if there aren't results already.  The results for Mass, Area, and Volume will be shown below.

Angela,

As long as your parts have the correct material called out you can go ubnder the iproperties>physical tab and select "Update" and you will be able to see the overall weight og these skids.

Now, with that, are you talking something more then this?  Say getting this weight to show up on your drawing?
