I don't understand ecaxtly what you mean but....
You can't change it. You can only select a projectfile. In the upper pane
there are only links to the projectfiles which you have recently opend. If
you want to change it you have to do that in the lower pane. Just clic twice
on the directory and change it.

The word "Projects" is in all the location paths in the lower pane. I want
to add that word to the location path of the related project in the upper

BTW, Inventor, at least on my computer, does not allow you to edit the upper
pane, using the same procedures as used in the lower pane. The help files
explain how to edit the lower pane; tried the RMB, nothing there. Bob
The upper pane of the project file editer contains the actual location of
the .ipj file. To change this, you'd have to move the .ipj file to the
desired location and the use the Browse funciton in the editor to find it.
