Hi,
I am currently want to run the dynamic simulation of certain mechansim with simulation player. The mechanism is single DOF which consists of a crank and few linkages that controlled by the crank as well. So, when I try to run mechanism with simulation player the whole mechanism run in a very slow mode, it tooks me around 3 to 4 hours to complete few revolution although at the final time I had been set as 1 seconds. However, when I reduced my applied force at the crank to around 0.0X N, the mechanism run faster compared to the previous one. Since 0.0x N is very small and my desire force was 500N, but when I changed, it tooks long time to simulate. May I know what happened on my design actually?

How many time-steps are you calculating?
Do you need to show each slide during calculation?

Hi,
The assemble is as attached.
100 time steps is enough for me already.
ya, I may need to view each slide during calculation.
Thanks.

Before moving to an advanced topic like Dynamic Simulation you should understand that an assembly file (*.iam) is simply a list of hyperlinks to the part files (*.ipt) and a record of assembly constraints (and DS Joints) and is therefore useless without the ipt files.

Have you installed all Service Packs for 2012?
Is there a reason you can't use an Imposed Motion.
Right click on Properties of Revolution3 and click on Edit Imposed Motion and Enable a Constant Velocity.
