Drawing scale format

Is there any way to change the way a scale is represented.

Currently, I get, for example, 1:4 and I'd like 0.25 instead. Is this
possible?

To make things even better, is it possible to specify a text to appear with
the scale, like "Scale"

When I create a detail or section view, the view label shows "SCALE 1:1"

I can't find where to change any of the format.

Neither can I.

Mine only shows the scale. I'm using the ISO template standards.

Guess you can always edit view lable and type in the scale as you see fit.

Especially when your background brought you from another software Pro/GRAM
to IV and it can be done there quite easily.....another item for the survey.

just a thought can a VBA be written to extract that information from the
drawing view window, so that when the scale is set there it writes to the
title block?

There are at least a couple of programs out there
that will do this:

Patrick de Stobbeleir has an add-in that will write
view scale(s) to the title block:

Custom
property copy also enables this, along with formatting options:

If you try CPC, let me know if you have suggestions
on additional functionality or formatting options.
