Drawing a lamp on Autodesk inventor!

Hi Everyone!

Well I am a new user of Inventor, and I have a question; I am supposed to draw a 3D model of a  street lantern (lamp) on inventor, I know there are different softwares to do that, but I wanted to try that with Inventor.

So I have the picture of the lamp, I can draw it simply, but the problem that arises is how to find dimensions? Is there any way to somehow import this photo to inventor?

Start a new sketch.

Click on the Insert Image icon.

It might be a good idea to go through the Tutorials first.

Help>Learning Tools>Tutorials
