Has anyone experienced some of the geometry in a sketch being selectable and
then not being selectable while the sketch is still active?

Yes

Just orbit enough so that you're not looking "square on" to the sketch.

I noticed the rotate thing also. That is very weird. I never saw that until
R7.

IV7 is the first version of IV I've ever used so I guess I missed out on the
good version, lol.

Just kidding. I wish all bugs were as time-consuming or problematic as this
one.

Actually, I don't think it's happened in IV8 ...... yet.....
