Dimension match properties (paint)

Hi,

On a drawing I have dimension style with all my requirements.

On an other drawing, I don't.

I need to know how i can match all the dimensions in the second to first. Where is the match properties icon?

Are your styles stored in the templates or saved to a style library?

If you want all styles in the first drawing transferred to the second, edit your styles (first drawing) and RMB on the active standard then export to somewhere handy.

Edit styles (second drawing) and import.

If you only want dimensions then just export and import dimension style.

I don't think you can match properties across drawings, but if you have both in one drawing RMB on a dimension and you should find match properties in the shortcut menu.

Great. Thanks for clarifying. I noticed what you say. You are right, its possible to match dims if the dims are in the same drawing file.

It would have been nice to have this across the files.

However, the other solution is perfectly suitable for me.
