Detaching text from leader line

I'm trying to add a single leader line to a drawing wihtout any text attached, the only way I can see is it use the 'leader text' command but now I can't detatch the text, is there any way to simply add leader only ? Thanks

Hi Anthony,

If you use the Leader Text tool and just enter a single space, does that work? This is the solution I've used when I needed to add an extra leader from time to time.

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,

Why don't you just use the add leader command?

If you just need a leader with no text, use the leader text command but leave the text box empty (you don't need a space or anything).

If you need to add a leader to an existing leader text (or text without a leader), right-click the text and choose "Add Leader".
