Design Views in .idw

I created a design view of an assembly and now i want to use that design view as a base view in a .idw file. I am selecting the design view in the dialog box but that is not the view that is created in the drawing? What am i doing wrong?

I think...I must be mistaken but you might have to
name your design view as "your design view" .default. Like I would say, I use
mine as "derek.default", not just "derek". Makes sense? Anyone let me
know if I am wrong...

I believe the design view properties that are captured from
the assy to the idw is component visibilty and color.
I don't think you can bring over view position (rotation) and assy sectioning. JDS
