I am working with Inventor 2012 to create splines between shaft and hub. The shaft has a shoulder near the splines that is larger in OD than the splines. Inventor is removing this shoulder when I place the splines. I assume that it is due to tool clearance, but I am pretty sure Inventor is being too conservative with it. I manually drew the tooling and I should have clearance to bring the splines closer to the shoulder than Inventor indicates. Is there a way I can adjust this?
