How do you set the default IDW template used when you select 'New Drawing?'

You can have many templates. you set the location of them in the Tools\Application Options\Files. If you use the "New" as shown in this image, Inventor will automatically default to the file named "Standard.idw". Otherwise, click the little arrow to the right of New, and you will get to the list of available templates.

I had already followed the instructions above, without success. Inventor was looking for "Standard.dwg" instead of using my "Standard.idw". I had to change the "Default Drawing File Type" on the Drawing tab of the Application Options.
