DIMENSION TO VIRTUAL SHARPS

I am using 2012 and am having a problem dimensioning to a virtual sharp.sharps.JPG

On the above corner I select the straight edge on top or to the left of the corner. I then right click to bring up the intersect option but the only ooptions I get are :Done, Snap Settings, Zoom, Pan, and Help.

Do I have a setting off somewhere? Or is thie a location where the sharps don't work?

Thank you

Jim

I know this works fine when you have 2 lines with fillet. But in your case you probably have a line and arc with fillet.
I would -
1. Select dim tool.
2. Select line.
3. Rmb select intersection
4. Select big arc
5. Select the other point/line/ or app int

JD,

I have attempted to upload the drawing 4 times and it keeps timing out. I will have my computer at home tomorrow with a faster connection and will try again then.

Thank you

CAD-1,

The problem is that when I Rmb I do not get the option "intersection". All I have is Done, snaps , zoom, pan, and help.

Yes there is a radius between the straight lines, this is often the case when a virtual sharp is needed so it should not be a problem.

Thank you
