Cut Top of Sphere

Greetings,

In the attached Inventor 2013 ipt, I am trying to use the extrude / cut command to lop off the top of the sphere and I am not having any success. Any help / advice would be appreciated.

Not sure what the problem was, just deleted your existing sketch, created a new sketch on the work plane, selected construction line, projected the sphere outside profile, created a horizontal line, then a arc with the start and end at the end points of the H-Line with the mid-point on the construction circle. Finish sketch and use the Extrude-Cut.
