I have created a custom title block and border for one of the automotive manufacturers since I need to submit all their drawings in the standard border and title block format. The border is quite broad, so when I insert the new title block, it overlaps the border slightly. I need to try and find the setting to control the exact point at which the title block is positioned when inserted into a drawing. Is there any way to do this?

Hi rvangend,
Go to the Tools tab > Application Options button > Drawing tab. You'll see the option to control the title block insert point there.
I hope this helps.

Hello Curtis, Thanks for your feedback, but that only controls the placement, not the actual position. I need to place the title block in the bottom right corner and shift it ober by a couple of mm (x & y). Thanks Rob

You helped solve this for me thanks. On Inventor 2019 I had to:
Draw a point.
Then dimension it to the bottom left corner horizontally and vertically.
Only then would the set insertion point icon would ungrey to be able to be used.
Save and insert the title block. Yay it is in the right place (if not retweet the dimensions).
