I go to the Parts List, Insert a Custom Part, click Apply, Click Ok and nothing shows up.
I go back in to Edit the Parts List and the Custom Part is not there at all.
What gives?
Works here.

Sorry, just realized that you can't add anything in the ITEM column except numerals. I was trying to use a letter to indicate a sub-part to another part to keep them grouped together.
Once it accepts the customer part item # then I can change it to whatever I want.
trying to do this as well, i know i have in the past but it is not working now more me neither.
Hi! I vaguely recalled this was a known bug in 2023 or 2022. Please install the latest update applicable to your release. What release of Inventor are you on?
Many thanks!
