Creating a smooth transient

The attached model contains 4 engravements for hex nuts. I will put them there and attach a lid to it to close the cube with screws. The problem is that I want to strengthen the blocks the engravements are in, at best, I want them to be fused with the inner part of the cube, a smooth transient between the blocks and the inner wall for cubes to stand some screwing forces. Speaking of which, can you simulate screwing in inventor?

Hi! Is the attached part what you were looking for? One quick question though. How are you going to make the part? By 3D printing?

Thanks!

Hmm. Your model is not ideal.

You have lots of undefined dimensions, Emboss is not the best choice for your intent, 2.07 mm shell makes no real sense, and more.

And you can upload such simple files without problems.

Hi! Is the attached part what you were looking for?

I like what you created here.

One quick question though. How are you going to make the part? By 3D printing?

Yes, via shapeways, Strong & Flexible Plastic material. Speaking of which, what other alternatives did you have in mind - injection molding?
