I have a solid body .ipt that I have created an assembly from. Some of the parts in the solid body can rotate which in turn rotates them in the assembly which is great. The problem is I need to create a drawing of the parts of the assembly. If I create a base view of a part that rotates the view rotates also, but I do not want that. Is there a way to create a view that always "looks" at a surface of a part no matter what position it is in? Or maybe some other way around this problem?
Thanks in advance!

After you create the base view of the part RMB and goto rotate. Then select a line to orientate it the way you want. It will then stay in this position regardless of part rotation. I just tested it.
Excellent! Works great!
Now I can remove the code that I used to compensate for it.
