Countersink holes

In the Edit Hole Note>Precision and Tolerance pop-up, there is a Countersink Depth parameter.  What is its function?

How can a recessed countersink hole be made in a part?

If you're asking what I think you are, countersinks, counterbores etc can be included during model creation with the hole tool

Then you can regurgitate this information in your drawing with the hole and thread tool.  Is this what you're looking for?

Thanks for the reply. When a hole note is edited, the editing pop-up appears. If the Precision and Tolerance pop-up is opened, there is a countersink depth selection available. Hopefully the graphic is shown below.

Because it is not possible (?) to model a recessed countersink in one step like a counterbore, what is the purpose of the c'sink in the P&T pop-up?

The countersink depth is the distance from the start of the hole to the bottom of the tapered countersink surface.

This value is not shown in the hole note by default (unless you have changed your hole note styles from the installed defaults), but is one of the values you can insert optionally.  This is likely why you aren't seeing any effect of changing the setting - you are altering the displayed tolerance of a value you probably aren't displaying at all.
